UPDATE-Painting my rims, Silver Lip added

You can see where i fudged up a little bit, but I can fix it right up. This is just the front left wheel. Still have to do the other 3. As requested, I will take some daytime pictures once Im all finished and have a final thread, and I should have my calipers painted black by next friday. WOOT! Let me know what you think (dont comment on the **** ups, hehe or the fact that I have 4 lugs and not 5 XD)

ghetto? Nah, it would be ghetto if I didnt take time to sand, primer or anything, then just painted it with wall paint. That would be ghetto

Hehe, I love the "Looks ok...." Comments, hehe. Well, i just ordered My shorty Antenna, and im rocking the Type-C lip, once i finish my Wheels and paint my calipers, I will let you all see the full body, but be warned. Close to looking stock, but she has a little bite to her. Only thing Im really worried about getting now is the JDM rear and then getting skirts....well, time to save up like 3 grand!!! lol

looks good and i don't think painting your stock rims is ghetto. Not everybody can afford 2-3 grand for rims. So if you want to customize your car a little and you don't have tons of money, sometimes you need to improvise.

i would just keep the stockers clean and original if you cant afford another set at the moment.

when that thing starts to chip, it will look NASTY!

When and If it starts to chip...Just repaint. No biggie, you can even repaint without taking off your tire. no problem. If you do it right, there wont be any problems. better than spending 1,500 - 3,000 on new wheels
