I recently crashed my evo 9 and broke off my stock front lip and bottom guard. Need help wondering if i could just buy a new lip to replace it. Also wondering where i can buy a new bottom guard? any help would be appreciated....

 

If I was you and I had extra $$$, this would be the chance to go aftermarket on the lip.

Also check the "For Sale" threads, usually someone here is parting out a car....good luck.

You can find undertrays on here for cheap in the f/s section. I sold one for less than 50 bucks once I think. The lip I would say aftermarket if your car is lowered. IMO, they look goofy if the front end is at stock ride height.

I just say go aftermarket lip if you have the extra cash. Looks better ya know?

 

you can probably get an aftermarket lip cheaper than an oem lip

 

buy an oem one from someone who just got themselves a cf lip. Thats what i did when i got my varis lip, i old my stocker

in my opinion i'd do one of two things with a IX...

- Stock SE painted lip.
- Ralliart CF lip.

When I got hit I was torn... but I choose the painted SE lip.
