I just got a 05 EVO VIII Rally Red.

I ordered Rota P45R's in flat black with red lip (17x9)

I am gonna work the red vs black look. I just ordered black rexpeed vortex generators and I already have 15% tint on it...so those with the wheels and windows will look great, but I am gonna take it a step further...black hood with black wing!

keep the red wing man... maybe get carbon fiber trunk and cf hood... than it will look sick!

 

Don't listen to the last post.....i think black wing would look sick...why the black hood though? id go for side spats, lip, canards, vortex....or u could not listen to anyone at all and do waht you want, afterall, it is ur car...

 

if you paint ur wing black you wont get as much attention or it wont stick out as much as red...

the cf hood and trunk are good if u want that dark side look... it looks better than just painting it black...

Did you guys look at that link I posted? I think the hood looks good black! Who knows...maybe she will just stay red...we'll see

 

CF hood adds weight, but if weight isnt an issue for you. get one because it will look sick. Also the Evo VIII wings are full carbon, sand down the red paint off the sides and get it clear coated. Full carbon wing, it will look sick.

 

id do a black wing and lip def....looks sick on red....plus the black rims and red lip...then drop the GT45678890R Turbo Kit by PWN Motosports and your good to go

 

better yet....remember that video of the white evo i sent you a while ago? It just had the middle of the hood painted? not exactly straight down the middle..but painted black to the lines on the hood. know what i mean?

 

Should have went with 18s. 17s are too tiny, and those wheels already look small to begin with.

 

Once you make your wing full cf and get a cf trunk and hood, get a cf lip and drop it some. Car will look great. CF + Rally Red = <3

If you have the money get the AMS CF Roof too.

 

why in the heck would u want an all cf wing? that would just look retarded...afterall u do drive a yellow evo

 

I would be interested in seeing how the all cf wing would look. I have been doing the same thing with mine for a while (the black/red combo, good choice ). And now that my wing looks like crap, I have been pondering myself how the all cf would look.

The black hood does not look too bad. But I went cf myself. I really did not care about the weight factor, least the one I have is somewhat functional. I still want to do a cf lip, and I still have not put on the cf splats.

18s = have to roll fenders

17s = save money
17s = look mean

Actually I am just rambling on...I would have got 18x9.5 but they were sold out
Oh well, 17s are fine for me! After all, it is only .5inch on each side
