Can anyone point me in the direction of a PU Do Luck style lip? I DO NOT want carbon and am dead set on the Do Luck...

This is a IX, but looks the same if you put this one on an VII or VIII. Hope yall like.

 

^^ that bumper is sick,, im rocking the same one but hate all the bumps here in cali gonna swap back to my 8 with a chopped nose and do luck lip

 

noob question for yah'll.... can you use the 9 lips on 8 bumpers, my hunch says no but the bottoms look IDENTICAL to eachother. I would like to do the do luck and APR splitter. Thats the goal.

 

yeah man I love this bumper. I only lowered the car 1.3 inches all around so I still have good clearance. Im in Tx and some of the roads around here suck also. I just was careful with my drop so i shouldnt have any issues. Have you thought about raising your car some so you can use the APR bumper?

 

The lips from an VIII or a IX will not fit eachother. Bumpers are different. You can find any aftermarket lip to fit yours though. The do luck will work great with your stock bumper, as far as the splitter, you will need to take cardboard, draw the outline of the lip on your car, then fold the cardboard in half, ship it to apr then they will custom make your splitter. Once this is done you will have a one of a kind and rare do luck lip with apr splitter combo. Hope that helps you.

Do-luck all the way on an 8

 

stupid question....my stock evo 8 lip is broken...the little plastic tabs snapped off the lip on one side, so the screws that hold the lip on are not doing anything anymore. Previously i just used epoxy to hold the lip on, but now i am just tired of looking at it.

will i still be able to install one of these lips?? thinking of do-luck

Youll be fine once you get your new lip. Wont need those little platic clips.
As far as professional isntaller they all say that to cover their buts, youll be fine, very easy to install
