Black Magic Cleaner.

Ok so, I sprayed the plastic parts around the car with the spray from black magic to restore dried/dirty plastics, vinyl, etc... I thought I wiped it all off from the paint, but when I looked today, there looks like some residue and an obvious color difference...do you think this will come on with a car wash or maybe a clay bar? There is nothing on the bottle that states it cannot get on the paint.

Black Magic sux!!!! Next time buy Mothers' back to black.

About the paint issue.....don't know but if you don't have some touch-up paint saved somewhere, I would start thinking about buying some ASAP.

^^^ Agreed. Try to stay away from OTC detailing stuff. Most of Megs stuff is ok, but if you want the good stuff try www.autogeek.net or contact detailersdomain.com here on the forums.

Now as far as your problem you might want to start out with just a car wash and if that doesn't do it try Simple Green or something like it. Don't let it sit too long just spray, wait 30 sec. and wipe off.

just use light rubbing alchohol...that cuts through waxy and oily liquid quick. i have a hunch you sprayed that crap right on the car instead of spraying it on a paper towel or sponge and applying it. am i correct?

Oh god....over the counter products strike again! I would follow tripperfx3's instructions to clean it.

No, I actually used a sponge, but the sponge was too big and has a handle on it.

I did wipe down the car after it, but I guess not good enough or something.

What's Simple Green?
