Hello,
My evo vii is missing the trunk locking mechanism but there is no feasible way to get the jdm part. Does anyone know if the locking mechanism will work from an viii? When i go to the parts department at the dealer they pull up two locking mechanisms. One clips in and one screws in... any ideas or suggestions?

the lock on my trunk clips in..and i have a wingless lancer trunk
my lock on my trunk IS an Evo lock, so i guess the clip in one would work for u too?
