I made the mistake of not knocking the ice off of my wing after a snow storm. My evo started shaking so violently I had to pull over

yea that was a crazy night, id say i had about 3-4mm of ice on the car on every panel. pics were from a slr camera, and the last pic on full res looks crazy as a background, if anyone wants it let me know. car started like normal, idled really high. you guys havent seen winters til you live in the midwest/chicagoland area, its crazy here

Nah, not really bad for the car/paint. Although when you try to open the door and the sound it makes, you surely think you cracked the body panel right off.

We get some ice like this a lot in MI. I will take frozen icicles on the car over caked on snow/salt mix any day. Plus, you can just run the car through a warm water touch less car wash to get it off. I suggest paying for the extra dryer time, otherwise it will have a nice thin layer of ice on it after driving home.
