post up custom/DIY stuff on your evo

i guess ill start this off....

a freind have me a polished manifold cover from his dsm for free so i cut it for my wastegate and drilled a new hole to make it fit




my custom honda mini radiator set-up (and my home made intake)




my smoked side markers



wrinkle red valve cover




dual meth tank set-up (used 2 coolant overflow tanks from a ford aerostar)


painted my wheels


wired my fogs to a switch so i can have them on whenever i want (also painted headlight housings)



painted my shifter console and dash trim


i also reupolstered my headliner black but i havnt taken any good pics of it...



figured i would post upmy pumpkin i carved for haloween as well lol

hey i got a question...did you paint your wheels with the tires on? and if you did, did you paint it all the way through? meaning also the inner lip?

yeah i painted them with the tires on, paint doesnt stick to the tires very well and comes off pretty easy with a wire brush. I did not paint the inner lip.

wait let me get this right you took out the stock raidator and put in a honda one. Man good luck with the overheating.

On the first pic, what is the bronzy looking thing by your custom intake? And what is your custom intake?

Nah, not a honda (threads are different I believe).

I'd like to get the fogs to run separate from the headlights also and I really like those smoked turn signals

i have done a few custom things to my engine as well.

-exh mani heat shield
-catch can (recently threw that one away and made my own DC3 catch cans..
will try to take installed pics this weekend)
-battery junction box (moved battery to trunk)
-BOV recirculation pipe
-painted BOV, spark plug cover, and timing cover

currently fabing up a stainless upper radiator pipe, hopefully have pics in a few days. enjoy!

actually my coolant temps stayed almost exactly the same....

im not sure what your talking about? my radiator pipe? and i made my intake out of some aluminum mandrel bends

its a shift knob ams sells for 2g dsms. its called the hammer it weighs one pound
