I posted these up in a local thread and the GG thread... figured I'd start a thread too...
waxed my car last weekend... here are some pics I took the day after.
rockin the evo viii enkeis for the winter
Hope you like them!!! I'm dying to get a better camera but these came out pretty good! I just used my 6MP Canon SD630 point and shoot. I used a tripod though which helped.
Shes pretty much bone stock currently! Got her brand new last June! One of the last Evo IXs left!

Yup they are my winter rims. Evo VIII Enkeis + Blizzak LM25s. I use the stock diamond black BBS SE rims for the summer (10k miles on the stock advans). I've been thinking about getting a new set of summer rims "at some point". I was considering getting SSR Type-C RS rims but its going to hard to justify spending $$$ on new rims when I'm already in love with the stock BBSs.

If I were to get the type-c rs's... not sure if I'd go gun metal or black, probably gun metal
i think the 18x8.5 ssr rims weigh ~2lbs more than the 17(x7.5?) BBSs.

thx guys! i gotta say i do really like the evo viii enkeis on a gg evo ix so far! i was thinking about painting the black and maybe doing a red lip but i don't think im going to bother. i was also considering painting the center cap mitsu symbol red.
i think i commented on a post you made of your evo + winter rims and said the same thing!!!
lol. fyi that place is called bancroft tower and its in worcester, ma. the other pics were taken at wpi (also in worcester)
