It was so funny, I went into the Mistsu shop today to take a look at a red one on the floor not sold yet. The sales guy kept asking me if I would sell my IX. I overheard a few of the salesman outside talking about how they get calls all day long from people asking for an VIII or IX. Then the sales manager came out and wanted to know if I was ready to turn it in. They seemed more interested in selling my car than getting me into a new one. Made me proud to have the IX. Has anyone else experienced this?

 

I wonder if the under tray is installed at the dealer. Notice the empty holes under the lip, and the chains hooked on to the carrier for transport ?

 

they're just trying to get you to sell your car and buy a new one from them.

I saw one at the greater L.A. autoshow. I was looking at it with another guy there who is trying to sell his VIII. He told me I should do the same, because once the X comes out our cars will be obsolete. I told him I wouldn't even trade mine outright for an X...unless it looked like mine and put down the power mine did Then maybe. I will say I like it 10x better than the STI though.
