My random palomar mountain adventures

K this is my first time posting pics... it snowed at the top 3 days ago...thats right...snow in northern san diego!



Mothers Kitchen frozen over!


You guys already knew this...



then me and my summer adventures on palomar mtn....i know its not an evo but its still a fun toy
its got track fairings

I have been vacationing in Southern Cali every year for last 6 years just to do this.

thats so sick!!! i tried going up a few weeks ago when it snowed last week, but... they closed the mtn... i got all the way there and had to turn around.

i can see the snow from my house in san marcos today.. but am kind of leary cuz i got the advans on...

do you know if the snow is on the roads? or has it melted or been cleard, if so its pic time.

Did you continue up to the Camp Grounds (Look out point)? I always go up there via Lake Henshaw (back route).

Nice GSX-R. That's the only "Gixxxer" I would ever consider getting. 600 or 750?

really !? the only part that was closed was the observatory gate...other than that everything was opened...it was actually snowing for a while too. snow plows just started running around...it was awesome. but it was 2 in the morning though

going up the tightside...its only near the top that you start seeing snow actually on the road...but ice starts forming halfway. i dont know if the snow plows go down that way though...i thought i wasnt gonna make it without chains...but as long as you're smooth, i didnt slide out. unless i did it on purpose

but all the snow is gone though its raining tonight but i dont think its cold enough for snow...i heard next wednesday is gonna be perfect again
