well for 1200 bucks and only a loss of 7lbs and i would guess some loss in structural rigidity w/o the cage in it ? thats pricey for me, but i guess at this point money has never been an issue to cut corners on this car...but hey its not my car i just wouldnt do the roof on my own.

the CF roof is actually stronger than aluminum, so it increase structural rigidity. AMS did a post on there roof about it. I WOULD LOVE A RS TRUNK!!! PM me

 

Thanks for the replies guys,the car still isn't finished yet,waiting for Evo dave's headlight's to come in,carbon mirrors from 201,rex speed front lip and duct inserts and so on and so on the weight of the car is 2650. ty.

 

Would also like to that Adam and dustin for there time and effort they put into the car,I'll be back there with some more goodies for them to install,yes I agree about the looks of the car good and bad,it's just the way it is you love it or hate it!! I really don't care either way I think najeeb's car is the hottest looking evo on the planet period!
I solely did these mods for weight reduction. Curent weight 2650.

 

Looks dumb huh well my friend Iv'e had people tell me it looks good and bad,that's fine but dumb is a new one to me how exactly does a car look dumb?,as far I know this is a fact, YOU will only see the the back of my car,and the only thing I will see is a dummy in my rear view mirror.

I personally think it looks a bit odd, but completely understand the results. That much weight savings with only color being the negative statement is good by me.

 

2650 and oer 500 whp must be pretty wild. still wouldnt want to take a ride in it without crash beams in the doors..
