I get nods and got a few waves. one cop even gave a thumbs up when i drive.. Most of the cops around here are younger guys.

 

yea cops around here are iffy depends most of the time they will leave you be. Last ticket i got couple months ago cop pulled me over and asked "Is that a real evo?" im like yea then he is like love the look of your car man props. Then he promptly wrote me a ticket for my tail lights being out. I was like seriously ticket cost me 25 dollars plus new bulbs

So.... I decided to purchase a trunk with no holes to go wingless, i dont like the voltex wing for street driving so do you think it will look good to go wingless with the voltex kit?

i know xenope does ut his car is crazy wide and looks great, i haven't seen dallin's in a while so i think wingless will look good but i don't know. I just picked up the decklid tonight and will take it to paint tomorrow and we'll see next week what it looks like

I Love wingless for the street I have 2 deck lids now. One that will be painted to match and my CF one that will probably have a Trunk lip on it

yep! that car is pure hmmm. yes our cars are very different actually but similar. i guess any ww evo with a voltex kit is similar though. I like the wingless look i think.

 

Yes similar but different for sure. We have different front fenders, wheels, I have canards you don't, you have the Voltex wing I don't, You have CF mirrors and I have Ganador ones, you have the GT hood I have a TSII hood, your car is running right now and mine isn't etc... They only look similar because both white and have Voltex wide body parts is all

I think i should drive both you guys evos then deciede if they are different LOL. In all seriousness i never was a fan of no wing still not. it looks good in some applications. like evoivgsr is good. hell while i was waiting on my apr gtc spoiler i was wingless for one week

 

I kind of agree with Rockman. I'm a wing guy though so my opinion is biased haha... I have the wing off on my Evo and it just looks like its missing something in the back. I can't wait until my Voltex wing comes in. I think I'm leaving my stock wing off just because I'm too lazy to bolt it back on haha.

 

I want to go wingless so bad.
