here's another random question.... Voltex's rear wide body panels are made to fit with a JDM 9 bumper. does Voltex have a rear wide body option for us guys running a JDM 7/8 bumpers?

Well that is probably why The Cyber Evo doesn't have one on then They know its a appearance part. The hood is functional too by the way and it helps a lot with cooling too part of why its a little over kill looking

I know Voltex means business. i just think there might be a market for guys wanting to run aggressive wheels and tires, without going full wide body. i've seen a couple of guys on here with some pretty kool flare ideas and such. it was just my opinion.
So you want to run MEATY tires on a 17" wheel... Personally wider tire with out a wide wheel doesn't do much good. I also don't like the fat tire look too.

I understand what you mean and I looked too before the Voltex Stuff and found some self made Bolt on fender flares for Races but they just don't look good. Yes the Veltex stuff is $$$$ but It was pretty much the best looking parts for going wide body with out going APR wide body which looks good too but I am just a big fan of the Voltex parts now. They are really good quality as well

18x10.5 +18: +45mm spacer rear, +30 spacer front (soon to be +45 too after I cut some more stuff and get my Cyber sideskirts of which I have to cut too lol).

No clearance at all in front from sideskirts, fenders, or bumper. I had to cut all of those by an inch or more from where the tires will touch. Then I had to hammer in the metal protruding from the chassis where the fender liner used to be.

Now I don't rub at full lock anymore, but still rub the bumper and sideskirt at the right steering angle and acceleration. Cyber widebody = pain in the *** to get right, not to mention cutting thousands of dollars in Voltex parts in a way that they will never be resalable or reusable by anyone else without rebuilding it. <--- how much I needed before having to irreversibly cut all my brand new Voltex parts.

My friend plans on going full cyber on his evo.. Are you saying your rocking 18x10.5 +18 with a 30mm spacer putting you at? 18x10.5 -12?

Just trying to make sure i know the reason you said you went with 10.5 but damn thats crazy.

anyone know if the cyber evo runs spacers then in the rear? pretty sure they run ame tm02 18x10.5 +10.....if Xenope is running 18x10.5 +18 with 45mm spacer = 18x10.5 -27 how does that make sense?.. even Xenope's car looks like it even has more clearance and could stick farther out.

Yep, +30mm spacer in the front. I should be running +45 just like the rear, but I didn't get my cyber sideskirts in yet to pull the fender out to the edge of the sideskirt like the Cyber Evo, which would give me the clearance needed to run a +45mm spacer. Once I get all this fitment issue worked out between the bumper, fenders, and sideskirts, I'll probably order some custom wheels.

I don't know with their current AME setup, but when they had CE28s which were same spec as mine, they were using a massive spacer also, probably +45mm or slightly larger with wider tires which filled out the fender wells nicely.
