The cyber evo's wing came off on a high speed straight and tore apart the entire top of their cf trunk, if you're worried about the cf trunk you're using...

 

I think I read robi's trunk flex's from the downforce.. I would mount the wing through the trunk and brace it to the floor or something.

 

i would not use the robi trunk with a wing period and thats keeping it real. i was going to do it on mine but did not after doing my research on the trunk.

 

Damnit I just bought it. Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated. I knew I should have done some research The car is not going to see the track until early next year so how about daily driving? That's all it will be used for now, would you guys risk it?

Before you even hit the track your going to be going through DE before you just jump right into the big races. So you have a long way to go.

 

foam just mount it through your trunk.. but unless your going for full blown track car the robi trunk in my eyes is a bit over kill since the weight your saving is made up by all of the interior and whatever else is heavy in your car.

are the robi trunks way more expensive then the seibons?

 

yea!!! LOL TAKING THE TROUBLE to mount it though the trunk for a straight DD is a waste of time lol need that area for groceries etc lol. just sell that trunk and get a seibon or viz then mount

 

to me just seems like a waste to spend the money and then have to turn around a sell it again.. I'd just make it work one way or another.

 

and how do you deem that exactly?? mounting it though the trunk?? other then that it will be to wobble and end up ripping off. if he is going to track the car some times then save the trunk for that if im not mistaken he hs 2 cf trunks so he is good. HE STILL NEEDS TO GET A WING FIRST ANYWHO.

 

There was also no hood on the car. Missing some pieces here and there. etc..

Its been fixed it was thrown on for mock up i could care less at the time. They have been fixed.

I had to go double check because of it haha. had me worried.

not really. im in a big location but still small. Everyone knows or knows of someone else. Most have seen my car. Most hate because i dont track the car. Others could care less.


That and there are plenty of nice cars in the 757 which mine falls way behind.
