And this of course is my biggest concern, I realize those ta cars are torn apart often so bad wheel bearings/axles are always taken care of promptly. But still, they are doing some serious strain on their suspension so the 200 miles a month I put on my car should be ok??? Though I'm at 500ft tq which I'd added strain

Guys, one question so far... With removing some tin from the rear there should be some re-inforcement applied, right? Or rear fenders (stock) are for nothing else except the view? Do they have any body stiffness?

Nothing but looks, when you cut your quarter it's two pieces so those two will come apart, in my case... I welded them back together and epoxied over the weld to make it strong again

I cut and Used a Special Body Epoxy that Is stronger than welds Probably not as strong as completely welding it up but stronger than spot welding and no Warping with heat with the epoxy

^^^^seam sealer? Mine is tack welded than epoxy, it's flexible just because the sheet metal is flexible. I was most concerned with making it waterproof.

or you can glue your fenders to your roof cause it would be the same, if your doing it for looks and not being able to take advantage of having a widebody....

Meaning the fenders are just to cover the wider wheels/tires. They don't offer any strength what so ever.

Both me and Evoivgsr did it for a while, it takes a bit of courage to chop up a perfectly good Evo. You've had a chip on your shoulder ever since you heard some guys did this, it's not your car and I'm not sure why you had such a problem with it. There's lots of things we all do just for looks but it's our choice, our car.

It's like you think you're better than everybody because you had wider wheels and a voltex kit. We are all Evo enthusiasts with different goals and objectives.
