It's still AWD, they went longitudinal to run a Holinger 6-speed sequential, mated to a Skyline transfer case and a Skyline front diff.

that sounds like alot of work... you know of the benefits of this? set engine more towards center of car?

I think it has less to do with distribution and more to do with longevity of parts and superior equipment.

That Holinger transmission is like $30,000...
