Official VOLTEX Picture Thread!
yea F*** you buddy, i was just voicing my opnion...not about smacks car, but about the whole voltex thing. sooo suck my a** hoser!!
you can spot the difference right away between fake and real voltex bumpers. Real bumpers are 2 piece and have much tighter fitment than fake. Something just don't look right on the fakes..
the reason why i ask is b/c the knockoff has a built in splitter on the bottom of the front lip.... smack's evo looks like the same as this one (sold by m1) maybe i'm wrong... i was just checking

i believe he has the Cyber street version front bumper from voltex.. it has the splitter, and compare the front lip/splitter between the real deal and the fake.. the fake one has a huge snow-plowing lip...even my homie Jay-Z didnt like it.

the whole lower half of my bumper w/splitter(voltex cyber street) is carbon. also it has a nice metal voltex emblem in the center of the lip, the stamp in the clear on the inside and comes in a big voltex box.
if not eric at driveline has some explaining to do...

thanks guys...
the only reason i don't run the side skirts is that it's more hassle to jack up the car with them on. i've been thinking about making up a custom jack point that comes through the side of the skirt so i don't actually have to get under the car to lift it. either that or just run it up on low ramps in the pits which is probably much easier

I welded some lower Jacking points and still use 4 small ramps to get my car on a lift
the side skirts do hang down quite a bit. I am looking into doing a air Jack system on my car for if or when I do a weld in cage
I do still love the look of the cars with out the Sides I was just giving you crap on that being really the only Voltex part missing on your car
I just need the Hood and Wing
One day I will have that but I guess for now my other hood and APR Wing will just have to do

i'd like to do air jacks as well but looking at the travel/droop of the motons compared to the 9" of throw on the jacks i think they'd have to be mounted pretty low so they would hang down quite a bit. i'd hate to get a corner wrong and catch one on a curb or something and rip it off the car. also carrying around the nitrogen tank with that kind of pressure doesn't sound super appealing to me

haha Didn't even think about that lol O think it would be fine tho. I haven't heard of many getting caught on anything especially on the track, but I could be wrong
O well that is besides the point that you have one of the best looking cars still
