Looks pretty good. I blacked out my taillights with a nice clear coat and a lil black and wa la! perfecto!

I saw a pic of one just like it but it was smoked instead of red. I thing that was the only one. The blinker was still clear, they smoked the same area that you tinted red. Yours looks good though, I was just about to do the same before I picked up my 7's.

Because the area where the reverse bulb is located is now red. When it shines the very bright white, it creates a pink effect.

The real evo 7's are Red right? Does it have a pink effect too?

I don't think they are as dark red as those.

Plus the JDM reverse bulbs are probably better than the USDM reverse bulbs so they can shine brighter and whiter and better and shinier than ours!

Hey man nice job on the tails. I just redid mine the same way the paint holds up great except it will fade eventually. I had JDM 7 tails on my 1st EVO and the reverse light was still pinkish. Screw all the haters there is no sense in paying 300+ for JDM tails.

been looking for paint that can show up that dark red. thanks for posting man ill have to stop by michaels tomorrow since its the day off and i got some parts shipped today
