This should hold me over until i feel like/can afford to drop 300+ on some evo7 tails. Came out pretty good. The reverse lights are pink but i knew they would be going into it. And yes i know the car is filthy

 

Taillights look good! Much better than the all chrome.

i dont know man take that paint off looks pretty bad.....it looks like you painted them.
in the sun they will look worse

 

The paint is actually called krylon Stained Glass...its available in craft stores like michaels, etc...

I dont have a write up but its real simple. Take the tails out, wash with water, then i used a prep solution called 'prep all' similiar to acetone i guess. Tape off the blinker area, use a razor to help make it exact, then spray just ONE medium to heavy coat. Clear coat is optional.

To the guy above, thats cool man, i dont expect everyone to like it. But i just cant afford legit evo7 tails just yet.

looks good, I'm redoing mine as I type this. I hope they turn out that deep a red. From what I understand,with a little dremmeling you can swap the indicator and reverse lights,then you still have white reverse. I haven't tried it yet because I'm doing all red and no white
