I need help with Greddy TI. I have JDM + Greddy TI but it seems to touch the bumper, not at the tip but the big tube( it goes like 3" piping, humongous tube and 3" piping+rolled bluish lips)

Anyone with the same setup, please post the a picture? I need to know what is wrong. Thank you.

If you see the last picture, my jdm bumper seems to touch that 'carbon tube', but mine is the Greddy TI. Is it because of the test pipe/DP?

no its because its a usdm exhaust on a jdm bumper. you need to take it to a exhaust shop and have them re do the hangers and shorten it about 2 inches.

Well actually I am talking about my Greddy TI. It is touching the left cut out of the JDM bumper. I am just worrying that someday the exhaust will melt the bumper.

Any tips for that?

unless i am miss-understanding you, if its greddy (regaurdless of it being a TI or TIC or ching ling yang) it is for a USDM bumper. not a JDM bumper if it said TRUST TI then it would fit absolutely perfect like (USERNAME) DogDealer's.

if it is slightly touching the JDM bumper cut out, then have the exhaust hangers modded by moving them slightly until it centers. however, while you are doing this (if you choose to) then have it shortened up about an inch.

and it wont burn the bumper for a while.

Yes I guess you understand what I am talking about. Do you have any pictures for that modification of the exhaust hanger?

just take it to a local exhaust/and or/muffler shop. they will know exactly what to do. tell them you want it centered and flush to the tip. i dont have any pics of greddy ti canisters modded for the hangers. but its not something you can do with out cutting and welding. so it needs to be handled by an exhaust shop. preferably one that can TIG weld 100% stainless because i believe your mid pipe is full stainless.

dont pay more than 100 bucks but, dot expect to pay less tan 50.

no pics, you will be able to get the bumper on but you should drive straight to a muffler shop pay 50 bucks and have it shortened so it fits correctly.

bottom line.

if its USDM IT DOES NOT FIT RIGHT. it will go on but it will either rub or stick out and look like a honda or other half *** modded car.

IF ITS USDM IT NEEDS TO BE MODDED PERIOD. some just fit a little bit better but just spend 50 bucks on getting it modded. its SOOOOOOOOOOO WORTH IT!
