Just my opinion
I disagree. I think it flows very will with the body lines when combined with the CWest sides and rear. I think the reason for this is the kit was designed originally for the EVO VII. Then Mitsu went and put on the different hood, sides, front, and rear (USDM only) on the VIII. So I agree with this statement if the whole kit is not installed but disagree if combined with the whole kit. I say do the CWest!

You are kidding right?

There are several lips out there. I personally would go with a JDPcarbon SE lip or a JDP Ralliart replica if I had a IX. Or get the genuine Ralliart. There are many cf lips out there. These two are avaible through Driveline on here.

This Car was the reason I got the Cwest front.

The only thing to consider will be removing the front crash beam, otherwise, if you really like the Cwest front, get it. When I was deciding to get my front, I had so many folks telling me how the cwest front is the "*****" of bumpers yet, as soon as I got my bumper, I knew a few guys that got theirs shortly after. Bottom line, go with your gut and what's going to make you happy. The black one in this post is of a guy that I know, his car was featured on JSpec/PASMAG. If you saw his car in person you would end up calling a vendor that same day.

Good luck.

I think he meant Rexpeed doesn't make IX lips.

I am a fan of the style of the C-West except for the dip in the grill for the air intake.

I had the apr cf lip on mine and absolutely loved it. Its fiberglass on the bottom and carbon fiber on the top. If you happen to bottom out, the fiberglass takes the impact . I bottomed out a few times pulling out of gas stations and what not and never once damaged the front lip. Its also flexible so it has give. Looks ba as well. I say apr

bro..if you looked closely you would have noticed that i meant REXPEED does not make a lip for the IX....

i had a ralliart lip..didnt like it...too subtle...then went Chargespeed..and i loved it...but that thing was too damn low to the ground and it kept scraping everywhere until it cracked.

to clarify a couple of things...non-USDM evo's dont have a crash beam...
and yeah i think i am going with the chargespeed front...just for a change..i might also throw in some carbon fiber fenders.

I love the cwest front bumper, especially with the large fmic. I was in the same position you're in and went with the lip because I had nowhere to put my stock bumper but in the dumpster. I say go with the cwest, alot of people have it because it looks good!
