Picked up my WW IX RS today heres a shot of our whips ... there both dirty

First pic, a few mods I picked up while waiting for the car


My IX RS ... 100% stock 12k miles ... swapped JDM evo 7 tails as soon as I got home and screwed on a honda element antenna while it was in the parking lot few other basic mods to come ..


My brothers 05 STI, bunch of mods ... has a GT35R somewhere around here but idk when it will be going on. Works wheels in the garage are for him not me

i like the STI without the scoop and the wing. looks like a 2.5rs. as long as you dont see the huge FMIC lol. is the sti debadged?

debadged ... a friend of ours crashed his silver WRX and gave my brother his carbon fiber trunk .... it got old after a while so he swapped some guy his carbon trunk for a wingless/filled/painted oem trunk. he still have the orginal w/ badges and wing tho

 

Now for the most important question, who's faster?

him ... I couldn't even bang a gear on the way home because I only had temp insurance, no registration, and no inspection sticker wasn't trying to get pulled over. car should be on the road soon though.

I'm keeping it nice and simple with this car. Quiet TBE, drop in filter, electric boost controller set to stock boost, and a conservative tune we'll see after that

i luv the way the sti looks much better then the ugly stock scoop

 

both look good... sti would look better with the scoop/wing, imo.

 

Both whips looks sweet. Looks like he is one up on you with engine upgrades and new shoes. In due time I'm sure you will show him who is King!

 

I would gladly take either car, I love the way white looks on a car with the sharp edges of the evo and the STi.

 

When I was looking for a Turbo AWD platform before buying the Evo IX, the STi's hood scoop was one of the major reasons I couldn't consider the car, I couldn't see over the damn thing to the passenger side front fender area. Non-scoop is badass!

ya, i just had an audi s4 which was AWD too thats my dads A6, and my moms truck which is optional AWD
