whats up i just got a evo 9 front bumper from a friend that had a rear end crach. i unbolted the bumper so i have everything on it bumper/grill/emblem,etc what else will i need to install this on my evo 8 . also will the evo 8 crash bar work on my evo 9 bumper thanks in advance

nah man your trippin. i have an evo 9 bumper. crash beam is the same. all i did was i took of the air dam to the oil cooler because it touched the lic piping. everything else works perfectly.

 

my evo8 crash beam didnt have the mounting holes for the innerbracket on the 9 bumper.

 

what inner bracket on thge evo 9 bumper

 

the one that mounts to the crash beam, where the 2 holes in the front of the bumper are.

 

so if i used an evo 8 crash beam how would i mount the bumper to the crash bean?? woiuld i have to drill new holes. could i just advoid this buy usinf a evo 9 crash beam?

 

the hole in the red circle. im not entirely sure that the 8 doesnt have it, but i know that mine didnt.

 

i driveanevo so if i have an evo 9 bumper beam it will bolt right on,did u reuse your hardware to install bumper on the side and the 2 front bolts

 

i driveanevo wherer u circled on your bumper did u have to buy those caps ,also did u reuse the bolts from the 8 to bolt on the bumper

 

the caps came with the bumper and you will need the bolts that go behind them. everyother fastener will be reused

 

so i cant reuse the boltsfrom behind the caps from my evo 8 bumper they should be the same right

 

if you already have them then yes they will work.
