My new Jackson Automotive stage 2 shortblock.

Hey guys I bought a evo tme rs lately with a blown engine so I was on the search to buy a built shortblock. I spoke to a few companies but the one which impressed me the most with their customer service and their willingness to answer any question was Jackson Automotive.

I explained to Carmela what I wanted to do with my car and she recommended their stage 2 shortblock consisting of wiseco pistons, oliver rods etc.
Anyway as my shortblock had 2 huge holes either side of cylinder 3 I needed a new shortblock JAM could supply this and also offer 200 off the price off the block if you having them do your work.
Anyway I ordered the shortblock and around 14days from when it was ordered the block was shipped out. I live in Ireland so I expected it to take ages to get to me and I was also very worried it would be damaged in transit.
However it only took 4 days to get to me I went to collect it yesterday with my mechanic and I was very impressed at how well it was packaged you would not even know there was a shortblock in the pacaked and it was strapped to a crate with not a sign off damage to any of the boxes.

We got the shortblock back to the garage and got it up on a engine stand.
Both me and my mechanic were very impressed he is involved in motorsport mainly group n evo's and it takes alot to impress him but he was very happy with it.

To anyone thinking of buying a shortblock I cannot recommend JAM highely enough they are awesome to deal with, with very good prices.

Here are some pics of it.
I will be running a evo green with some piper cams and other bits and pieces which I will update when the car is up and running.
