1x1 is considered more jdm. I think they both look equally as good. just please DO NOT mix and match. if you go 1x1, stay 1x1. the evo wing is 1x1 but its up high. if you went with a 1x1 hood and 2x2 fenders. I think that would look horrible.

most people refer to 1x1 as jdm since most jdm companies use this. HKS Kansai, Ralliart, Cwest, Chargespeed just to name a few. only real exception to this is varis who seems to use a 2x2 weave that is far cleaner looking than any 2x2 weave made my seibon or VIS. I think voltex uses a 2x2 for their rear diffusers as well.

2X2 Twill. The only reason you all like 1x1 is because all of the companies use them because it is much much cheaper ($8-$12 per yard) and because alot of companies that you all like so much use the cheaper twill to get more in the pocket... you now desire whats "JDM" and not the better product. If you want something that is going to have to hold integrity, ridgity and strength then you go with 2x2 Twill with whatever varying Oz. wieght. If your just going for looks and the part is not going to be introduced to stress then your 1x1 is fine.

This thread is retarded, but I kinda like it. I say since the wing is already 1x1 everything else should be the same. I prefer 2x2 though.

I think 1x1 looks better, but I'm not super partial to either. As previously stated, you shouldn't mix them up though if the parts will be close together. Everything on my car is 1x1 except for my rear license shroud (which is 2x2), but it's not close enough to the exhaust shroud or other parts to clash...

Anyways 2x2 twill is more expensive and more hard to get... so not all stuff can come 2x2

Careful though, some of the C-West stuff is 2x2. I know for fact their CFRP trunk is 2x2. 1x1 is what is on the factory oem wing.

Pedro, I think your wrong.

if you start with 1X1,you should do it all the way.either one is good.
