Question Sunroof - Yes or no?

Curious if you have or don't have the sunroof, and if you do, what you think of it.

I'd think without it would be a little lighter and a little stiffer chasis, but with it would be a nice way to get airflow through the car without all the noise of having the windows down in a 4-door car.

Also anyone have any problems with theirs like leaks?

I got one, but only because the dealer said they couldn't find any without a sunroof in the color that I go (Silver) I'd have rather *not* had it....but....I have used it so I guess it's OK. Every DSM I've owned before hand had a sunroof, never had any problems (97 GSX, 92 VR4, 91 GSX)

I have one. It's a must on a black car. No leaks, works great....and believe me you don't want to start the "weight savings" or "stiffer chassis" debate again.

I have the sunroof and I'm not very impressed with it at all. Waste of space if you ask me. If you have the option go without it, save yourself $750.

Yes on the roof. I did not want it but my wife did so we got it. I was not sorry. You will enjoy it and so fare not negative feed back from me about it.

Enjoy the new car!

It handles well with it. i havent driven one without a roof but i doubt its that different. I like having my sunroof. If you really want the weight savings on your car just get like a smaller battery or exhaust.

Personally i like it because i can drive with the windows up and more importantly with the a/c off and stay cool. Plus driving in the rain is fun with the roof open. I dont get any water at all. Well unless i stop.

I love having a sunroof. Lets air come in if you dont want the windows down. Im glad I have one. That was a must for my car when I bought it. I went from a car with one to my lancer without one and it made me sad when I didnt have one. So I had to get a car with one.

Mine works well, especially for the tilt-up function which allows better air flow through the cabin. 7500 miles and no squeeks, leaks, or rattles from the roof.

Frankly I would have bought it with or without the sunroof, it was really a matter of having the first one I could get my hands on!!
