some of the cars are mosdef rice, but some just have a body kit or paint color that some may not like. that IMO does not make it rice. For example I saw a pic of an accolade front bumper, now when it first came out a friend of mine had it and everybody loved it. It was the hit of a local 100 evo car show in so cal. When other body kits came out that looked better it ends up on the rice list?? Just different tastes I think. Some of what is rice today was cool in 2004, is all I am sayin'

 

there needs to be like a thread with civics and celicas and tiburons, you know the real ricers that like get the ebay exhaust fan so it sounds like they have a turbo

you know.....you guys talk to so much **** on everyone else's cars its ridiculous! IMO this whole forum is a disgrace to owning an evo! I just find it amusing that you guys find it funny to crack jokes and flex your emuscles on every single post i've ever read on this forum! Why not give constructive critisizm instead of running your mouths like a bunch of elementary school kids! This is the main reason that keeps me and many others from coming to this place. Oh and by the way hate away all you want on what i have just said....i really don't care. And for those of you that think i don't own an evo and i'm just hating... you will find pics of mine in the official EB section. So hate away people!!! Woot Woot!!!!

I just went through that Lancer forum posted above..
All I can say is that some people mod their car as a form of art or expression or the look at me feature and others mod for performance ( form follows function).
This is true in both forums, but the Lancer guys seem to be on the side of art
