Goodbye 350z :( hello Evo IX MR :D
Considering the mods on the car, the extras that came with it, the condition of the car, the availability of IX MR's in his area, and the mileage on the car I'd say he got a fantastic deal.
I made the same decision as you have here (350Z to Evo 9 mr), Feb 20, 2004.
What I have been able to summarize now, after having the Evo for the same length of time as my Z, is that, when I sold the Z w/ its suspension mods from 350evo.com and bolt ons from Crawford, my modded Z is closer in comparison to my Evo, than my Z was when I intially purchased it stock.
That says alot about both cars you could say, but really, I think it says is that after 13k in mods to the Z, much could have been saved if i had just purchased the EVO to begin with. Now to think back at how much money i wasted then, I'm scared to imagine the EVO being more addictive to mod than my Z. Easy power from bolt-ons (for the IX) make reissiting the temptation even more difficult.
Good job on the Z. Nice to know someone is a crazy as me when it comes to cars. The Z is a beautiful car, however the EVO is a beautiful car to drive.

Hey Alvin, glad to see you finally found your car. Great find! I actually decided to keep mine (came to my senses). I would also recommend the swift springs for sure to rid yourself of the off-road status
I've had them for about a year and they not only handle better but also ride better than the stock springs on the bilsteins. They also seem to drop the car perfectly for me, not too low but just right. You won't regret it. I too think you got a smokin deal for what you got with the car, that condition and mileage. Have fun with it!
