Goodbye 350z :( hello Evo IX MR :D
Hey guys,
I said my last goodbyes to my Z (completely parted out) and took a last drive on Wednesday before picking up my new ride. I still miss the Z but I'm in love with my new car, an Evolution IX MR. I have been wanting an Evo for a while and with the Z being a 5AT I finally put my mind to it and got the Evo. I love the looks and feel of the IX especially the MR's 6 speed tranny. And the BEST part? - My fill up only costs $46 (instead of $63) and I get 23 mpg on the first week even with all the traffic I was in! I know I'll miss the Z but finally getting my hands on a 6 speed is very rewarding. This car's response and acceleration is incredible!
My plans so far is to lightly modify it. I am not one to enjoy buying a modified car because I want it in 100% my specifications. However, the previous owner did some modifications (light) and had the car tuned to specs already. It's incredible that I found this seller because he wasn't even looking to sell and 90% of what I wanted done to the car he had already did.

haha alright well I'm waving at any Evos I see
Actually, now that I think about it weren't you at Factoria Mall one time when it was super hot out? I remember coming up to an Evo owner with a BBY evo 8 asking him about the cars because his looks really nice.

Haha, you have the same color as my IX MR too. Great pictures anyway.
Eastside meeting? There is once-a-month-meeting on NWEvos, you can check it out under NW Region.

Correct me if I am wrong, there is no 6spd short shifter in the market. I have double checked with Gruppe's, Speed Element and Vividracing.

Sorry bro, I didn't even realized I posted OLD pics of my Z when I first bought it in January of 07 (bought it used obviously from the Lexus dealership). Thanks for pointing that out, I just added pics of the Z as of March of this year before I started parting it out in April.
Man your interior looks exactly like mine. Gotta love the Defi's. Get some Swift springs on there though. Looks nice. How you like it compared to the Z?
