They use the EVO 8 in the SCCA ProRally.
This picture is from the German Rally a couple of weeks ago.
i like the wing however over the years of the evo its more of a trademark of the evo, its TRADITION, and i've noticed its the "older" croud of evo owners

getting the Evo or even the STI without the wing, to me, isn't the same. i mean, you see them on TV, magazine, games, and they have these large wings. it's like a trademark. it's just isn't the same without it.

The big wing is the least attractive element of any car on Earth apart from the idiotic WRX hood scoop. It is so damn ricey, and I took it off so I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen stepping out of the car. It converts a pretty sweet car to a weenie-mobile.

I agree with Apursell and Diesel absolutely.
Some people have different tastes. Don't get me wrong--I think the CF wing looks damn good on the car; but I wanted to have the car with a little lower profile. I don't see how someone could say they might as well not get the car if it doesn't have the big wing. How ignorant is that? And someone insists that he got the big wing for function--what do you drive on the freeways at 120mph+ all the time to get the proper downforce ? I think this car will be plenty stable at any speed with the tires and suspension.
The small wing (actually the OZ Rally wing) seems to attract the older crowd(as apursell stated) that don't want to be labeled boy racer.
In reality who cares what wing is on this car-with performance like that and body lines like it has--with a mean *** front end--or maybe what kind of wing you have is important--because that's all the other cars will be seeing as you fly by them
