I was at a local car show the other night and I saw a brand new Blue By You EVO pull in... I couldn't believe someone would actually get the small wing on the car and think it looked good!! Myself and 3 other friends that have EVO's were all in awe, cause it just looked so bad... The EVO isn't an EVO without it's trademark wing... Plus, the car looked so uneven like, it's hard to describe... It's like there was so much up front, then it kinda dies off in the back... Looked very strange.. As he parked, other people kept comming up to us and asking why HE did that to his car! We were like, dude, I don't know that guy... To each his own, but I didn't like the small wing on it at all....

 

Americans don't appreciate the big wing as the rest of the world, just read the reader's mail in this month's C/D.

 

The larger wing is an add on. Maybe they were tiring to save some money.

 

The larger wing serves more of a purpose than the smaller one.

 

Either way, the car looked like caca... Me no likey at all... It just looked incomplete... Not even like a sleeper, just wierd!!

 

I saw a couple of Evos like that at a local Mitsu Dearlership.

 

IMO people who have the smaller wing have bad taste in everything. They dont realize to engineering benifit the the wing. I does look a little different. BUT that is why I own the EVO instead of a ford taurus.

 

I prefer the larger wing as well. The small one just looks... wrong... on the car. The larger wing makes you stand out and kind of balances the car out. In all the time I've had mine, I think more people were afraid to race after seeing my hood instead of the spoiler but it still makes a bold statement.

 

It's crazy how people are still fascinated by the car, even though it's been around for a while now... Well, at least it's been 6 months... Everyone is like, wow look at those brakes, look at the wing, look at the FMIC, look at the hood!! How much did you put into the car? And I'm like, dude, it's still stock!!

i don't like the small wing either, but you'll never hear me give someone **** because their wing is too small...

Ricer wing? That is a strange way to talk about our wing. I for one think it is far from a ricer wing.

And I think most of the people around the Athens are still about 2 years behind the rest of the car world. Most don't know what an Evo is, they either rev at me or try to race me. Hell, over the weekend, my friend and I (he in his WRX) were heading back to my house and a ricer Accord going the opposite direction revved at us. Stupid people...

 

yeah i agree, i always thought that it looked like a small kid with a fat head.

 

they might as well not get the car, if they aren't goign to get the c/f wing..I hate the small wings..doesn't make it look rally anymore..

 

The same wing they use in the WRC, so to call it ricey seems ignorant since it was mainly develop to race in the WRC which is pretty much european.
