Get rid of it and get a JDM plate bracket off of ebay. I got mine for $10 bucks shipped and looks better than the stock bracket.

dude.....dude....your 'different' look may be achieved by purchasing the beatrush aluminum front bracket. it is comparable in color to your tape 'mod'....

please lock out this thread...this will get more ugly.

Personally ... I would rather run without one and deal with police than have that particular setup. Then again, here in Texas, it is rarely if ever an issue with the police.

The Beatrush License Plate Bracket is a nice unit Here's a picture:


It looks like you might be able to even maneuver the lower portion of the bracket to fit underneath your carbon fiber ducts so you don't have to drill them The bracket would be $58.85 shipped after sales tax.
