BlueEvo, yes the carbon hood is painted! I didnt like the carbon look, but loved the look of the hood, so had it custom painted...thanks

Sorry for the delay in reply, this was shot on a Canon 30D with 3.5 18-55mm, 1.8 50mm, and a 3.5 28-135mm. No fancy lenses here unfortunately.
