My 12 month old son Noah seems to like the new Cobra seats. I would have to agree with him.
FIA certified, kevlar construction, made in jolly old England, and they fit like a glove.
Can’t wait to install them.

Unfortunately no I don't. I can't wait to see what it is going to look like myself. Nick said he would send me some pictures once he is satisfied with the way they look.

I really can't wait to pick this beast up.

Once I get it back I need to:

install the OE front bumper, cf brake ducts, fr and rear spoilers, rear jdm
bumper, OE side skirts, rear voltex diffuser, front wide body fenders, ST big brake kit, rollbar, seats, seat rails, harnesses, paint voltex fenders and rear JDM bumper, etc etc.

1-2 days tops to get it finished off, it's just the paint that may hold me up.

Can't wait to see what this does on the dyno with mad man Nick's DTM TS turbo!

Those seats are gorgeous! Do you have any idea what the weight of each seat is?

I can't wait to see the bodywork that you're having done. I'm in the process of doing the bodywork on my own race car, so am somewhat fascinated with it at the moment!

1-2 days tops to finish it off? Geez! I've just spent the last 6 months underestimating on every task I've done! Fingers crossed it all comes together asap for you!

Keep up with the photos too - it's fantastic to follow builds that show pictures of each stage.

By 2 days I mean once I get it back from DTM, it shouldn't take me more than 2 days to finish off what I listed.

I am going to be out all day today, but when I get a chance I will weigh each seat.

Drivers side is Suzuka S

Passenger is Suzuka S GT (so I don't have to hear my friends b1tch about how they can't fit.)

Right now it will just be the seats, but down the road when I am actually going to install them I will get the weight of each seat with bride rails. I honestly don't think it's going to save much weight over stock.

^Thanks man!

Ok got some weights this morning.

Suzuka S 19 lbs
Suzuka S GT 20.50 lbs

Suzukz S w/Bride rails 26.50 lbs
Suzuka S GT w/Bride rails 28 lbs

Stock seat 32.75 lbs x 2 = 65.50 lbs

So I will end up loosing a total of 11 lbs. Not much but every pound counts, plus they are much safer and sexier looking seats.

The hundreds of hours I have spent on my car with drill and grinder can attest to the "every pound (or in my case kilogram) counts".

It's the little things that will distinguish really great project builds over the more common ones.

315

315/30 18 Nitto NT01 for the track.

315/30 18 Falken RT615 for the street.

Why a missing NT01? It’s at DTM with one wedsSport wheel, for rear wide body fitment.

Wow, that's as wide as you can get on a CT9A. Will the rear fenders be metal?
