Feeler for Titanium Shift Knob

A buddy of mine has this on his BMW M-Coupe and I want one for my EVO. I talked with the owner of the company and he's wondering how many other people would be interested so he can decide if he should offer one for us EVO owners. Please chime in. The price is 159.95 but it is a very high grade Titanium and if the interest is there it would be fully threaded and just slide on. Here's a pic.

Just let me know. Are you down for track days? I've been doing that more than canyon driving. There's one coming up in September if you want to cruise with. Just PM me if you want to go driving this weekend on rock store.

I used to own an M Coupe and had that same knob, and I must say it was awesome.

I would love if they can offer it for the Evo. I'd buy it.

So does that mean you'd buy one? This isn't a group buy, but they need about 10 orders to make it worthwhile to machine a new application.

I used to have a ti UUC knob on my S4 and it was a thread-on round knob with no extension . Looked just like my alloy MMC knob in fact except maybe slightly larger and of course a little heavier....and cooler looking! Wonder if the thread sizes are the same? May be worth calling UUC to check fitment. These would already be available and other than the thread match, would not require special machining.

They are extremely nice knobs as an alternative to cavallino knobs and we might be able to get a group buy on these.

I agree...the EVO shifter box is already great as it is...this would round it off perfectly. It is pricey though....any different alternatives out there? Maybe steel?

Yes, I'd be ready to buy one. But will need to know the specs on it 1st, i.e. if it will be threaded to fit in properly, or whatnot. I currently have a MOMO shift knob on the car, with a MOMO shift boot, but the install is a huge pain in the ***, since the knob is not threaded, it's only held in place by 3 little allen screws.

Let me know what you find out.

just an FYI if you want we sell the ARC ones...really nice, thread on, and far less cost (I'll post a pic in a bit)

I would only buy it if I can get it threaded...and theres nothing identical for less money... Threaded is a big BIG plus. Wait until your momo/sparco knob gets loose ...really pisses you offf!
