I got my turbo back exhaust installed on 8-14-03 by South Florida Performance. They did a great job they did a full 3" all the way back mandrel bent piping with a arospeed turbo back muffler. I highly recommend these guys. Frank the owner is an awesome guy to do business with and knows so much about turbo applications. All of there crew there are very knowledgable and very eager to assist you in any way! They do everythign there upgrade turbo kits for cars, custom manifolds, plus a lot of other things. Thanks the exhaust sounds awesome. I love it! The rain stopped when I was in North Miami so it wasnt to bad. No its my dads 01 vette. I am trying to get enough mods to beat him. only a couple more things and I will beat him.

I like the look of your exhoust but how does it sound? I bought the 5 Zigen cat back 3 inch all stainless. I like the sound it gets really booming whe you get on the gas but otherwise it's not too loud. Also what intake are you using and how's the the sound on that? Can you hear the whoooshing sound of the turbo or blow off better? What's thte prices like too? Thanks

 

My friend with the yellow one in Miami (Nick) pulled up next to me at a light the other night (same system) and it sounded very deep and throaty but not to loud overall volume wise.

 

blue-evo8Driving around town and being on the highway the exhaust is not to loud at all its pretty nice and mellow toned when driving. When I get on it from about 3500-Redline it is very loud and deep sounding. I LOVE IT! By the butt dyno there is a very noticeable gain in HP and Torgue. The turbo spools quicker and redline comes alot quicker now! By far the best mod I have done to any car I have owned. The intake I am using is Top Speeds cone filter. the top speed cone filter comes with the medal back already drilled for the screws to screw the MAS into the back of the filter. Also I am running a forgemotorsports recirculating BOV. With the exhaust on the whoosh sound is louder and definetly an attention getter. The prices are different depending on what you want to do. I also did a high flow cat with the exhaust system to so there is more money. Figure anywhere between $700-900. But like I said its amazing I love how the piping looks how well it is mounted and the time and effort that was givin to my evo!

So what will your future mods be now?

 

My future mods will definetly be a boost guage, a manual boost controller, SAFC II, Bigger Intercooler, then a turbo upgrade. I am really curious in the kit buscher was talking about with 650whp so I am going to wait to hear what the deal is on that. I need to save a lot of money to do these mods but it will be worth it in the long run.
