Has anyone badged or thought about badging thier viii or ix exactly like the x mr is badged? How do u guys think it would look? Any photoshop experts out there that wanna give it a try?

 

Thought about it, but don't wanna be a wanna be. So I stopped thinking about it after I decided that.

if i should roll with the traditional evolution mr badge or try something new (08 look)

So using badging that says "Lancer Evolution MR" from one Evo on another Evo is rice now?

If you want an MR that bad, buy an MR. other wise, you will have to most likely change out to a 6 speed shift knob. dont want people noticing you got a "5 speed" mr.

 

If you have an MR, I don't have a problem with it. If you put an MR emblem on a non-MR, you might as well add a Type R and GT-R emblem while you're at it.

 

Depends on if his is a VIII (or IX) MR. If it's not then completely disregard my comment.

 

I would be against it (especially if the VIII or IX wasn't an MR) but then again I have the euro badges on a non-euro car...

 

Taste will fluctuate cuz ppl are different. Some ppl go sleeper, some ppl have euro badges, some ppl have ralliart badges but would be damned if their lancer only put out 170hp or whatever ralliarts do. All I'm saying ppl are different. And an mr is just a Ix with overdrive and a softer ride. The rest is aesthetics, or aerodynamics as some would argue.(rims, shift knob, gurney flap, BBS, by, etc)

Ive seen some mrs without thier vg but that doesnt make thier evo a regular evo.

well for me to try it i gotta get the mitsubishi chrome badge for the lower left (so remove my two badges), then relocate them to the right so it goes : chrome lancer then chrome evolution under that one, then MR under that. Damn now that i think about it, that might be a bit too aesthetically busy. well if i get a hold of all those badges ill do it and see how it looks then remove if i dont like it.

 

might as well throw a GTR badge on it too while your at it.
