Very nice, love the black Brembos, what started to peel the black , white lettering or both? Also what did you use to paint the valve cover, can or gun? It looks nice. You should paint the upper intercooler pipe black. Is the paint on the intercooler holding up well?

Nothing on the calipers started to peel. They are painted black with caliper paint and then the letters are painted over it. The fronts are totally faded now from so many track days. You can barely read 'Brembo' any more because it has turned brown.
I just used black engine paint from a can to paint the valve cover.
I have since switched to the ETS intercooler pipes. I bought an AMS intercooler and had it anodized black so no worries about it chipping off.

Good stuff. I'm going to be heading in the same direction. Does the Carbon Fiber IX trunk badge actually show in normal sunlight? I'm debating getting this since the chrome ones are usually sold out.

I felt like a thread resurrection is due. Been a while since I posted about my car. It has undergone several changes since I started this thread a few years ago.

I have enjoyed every minute that I have owned the car (since new). It has been a blast to drive on the street and a exciting car on the track.

Here is a bad iPhone pic as it sits now

I've added several performance parts:
FP4R cams and FP springs/retainers
880 injectors
Perrin Intake
Ported stock exhaust manifold ceramic coated black
MAP O2 dump tube coated black
ETS intercooler pipes powder-coated black
AMS intercooler anodized black

I have driven the car on several tracks throughout Texas:
MSR Cresson 1.3

MSR Cresson 1.7 in the wet

MSR Cresson 3.1

Eagles Canyon Raceway

Texas World Speedway

Big thanks to Evolution Dynamics for all the hard work and time put into the car. Here is a pic outside the shop on a slow day

And thanks to Pro Tuning Performance (PTP) for always helping me with alignments

I don't race the car anymore so I have been making it more suitable for daily driving.

Got the interior back in. It sure looks good. The car has 44k miles, but the interior has only been in there for about 20k

I had to remove the black from the taillights because it was getting way too much attention from the cops
Before:

After:

What a change after hours of elbow grease, lots of sandpaper, and a headlight restoration kit:

I agree that the stock wing is better. But it was attracting too much attention from the local cops so I decided to get rid of it. I really like the Type C from Rexpeed. It was painted by them and looks really good.
