Water spots on CF wing? and special wax?

Does anyone else get a lot of water spots on there wing? I cant seem to get them to stop i wash the wing then they appear. Also my I have heard that owners of the CF wing are suppost to put a uv protectant wax on the CF to keep it from turing yellow, has anyone heard of this?

You probably should stop washing your car in direct sunlight, and any carnuba type wax works fine on the spoiler.

is it ok to use wax on the carbon fiber though?

I thought there was a specific type of UV protectant spray we are supposed to use to prevent future discoloration?

I'll second the Zaino suggestion. The main reason I recommend it is to prevent the carbon fiber from browning out due to UV degradation. Zaino has UV blockers to prevent this.

It should be alright to wax the wing, the CF is clearcoated. So any clearcoat-safe wax will be okay. I'd use Zaino if I had it, since it's like sunscreen for your car. I used Meguiar's Gold Class on mine since I had some laying around and is also claims protection from UV rays.

Zaino!!!! the stuff is awsome! I had seen a lot of people recomending it and just bought some a couple of weeks ago. it looks great and is super easy to work with compared to most waxes. dunno about the uv protection though, guess i'll find out.

Zaino is like Sunscreen for your car. It works great. It is the slickest polish/wax that I have ever tried. The Z-6 as a finishing detail will leave the slickest surface possible on a car. The smell is addictive as well. Buy some. After about 3 coats of Z-2 the car will look good even when it gets dirty.
