has anyone noticed how cheap the Evo's floormats are? i took out my mat the other day to vaccum it when i noticed how worn out they were. my car has only 1k miles on it and around where the heels of the foot goes are mostly worn out already.

anybody know where i can get one with a heel pad?

Don't feel bad. My big ape *** has stretched the hook in the carpet that keeps the mat in place... An issue for when I take the car in for the O2 seal recall.

I have 4100 miles on mine and the cheap *** floormats are pretty much worn from my heels when I brake and shift. Also, the fabric on the center console is really wearing due to me usng it as an armrest!!

You should try buying a thin plastic floor mat that you can put over your regular floor mat. This will cut down on the everyday wear and tear. Make sure it is one of the thin ones you don’t want it sliding up behind the pedals.

i had my WRX for almost a year and when i traded it in for the EVO, the mat looked like it's just finally starting to wear out but now much. i should just take it out because i noticed that the carpet under have a heel mat. doesn't it make more sense to put it on the mat?

There was already another thread on this talking about the poor quality of the floor mat. I remember lots of people were complaining about this problem.
