MFQ Evo Modified Class Champion @ California Speedway RTA
Congrats to Charlie, Dieter, and the rest of the MFQ team! It was painful to watch all of the problems go down across the garage with their freeze plug situation, but they never gave up and it paid off! Great work fellas!
Congrats! I recall this car having no cage and a Green turbo, but now I see a bar in the pictures and an hear an external wastegate. What's your new motor set-up? Looks stout in the video. Think I saw an indicated 160 mph? And I see Hankook on the tires in the picture. What tires does Hankook make that are good/legal for RTA Modified class?

Congrats to all of you at MFQ!
I really wanted to beat you on track (and I almost did, too bad it didn't rain/hail/earthquake/tsunami/etc after the first round....
) and was bummed thinking you might not make the race. Great job overcoming your headaches with the car and especially to Dieter for keeping a cool head throughout (and his sense of humor).
I am especially happy to see another top team try to extend themselves by racing their regular class and then try and make it work in the next class up as well! It is definitely not as easy as it seems and makes for a very hectic weekend. I hope to see you try that some more.
It's also great to see the mod class be so competitive with the top 5 Mod-awd cars all within 1.5 seconds and lead changes throughout! (Unlimited and street awd's were won by a whopping 4 second margin.)
Great job and keep it up, I love battling with you guys!
