just be sure to keep a good coat of wax on your headlights after you get that off. mine had the protective layer coming off and im sure you will take that off if you remove that adhesive. Make sure the wax will protect from uv rays. maybe if you are really concerned about them bieng damaged you should wetsand and then polish, and take them to a shop to get a protective clear coat layer on the headlights.

That statement is quite ironic because the funny thing about it...well not really funny but i bought the precut film on ebay. It was labeled as Laminx headlint tint. Specifically laminx is what caught my eye because i know the rep with that brand and the features to the film.

It was also ordered as the light tint...not extremely dark which is why i wanted to take it off and paint my housings...
Thats what sucks for me and really kills me because that guy really screwed me. Right when I went to complain to the seller he mysteriously was no longer a registered user...

Before you use more harsh abrasives, I suggest getting a sheet of 1500 grit sand paper and 2000 grit sand paper, and try wet sanding.

Once you get the damaged area removed... try using 3M diamond cut polish. it'll get out fine scratches... then buff with buffing wheel.

Evo covers are plastic... should work.

1500 sandpaper and PlastX will clean it up but, causes the headlights to fog up and require reapplication every couple weeks to keep them clean.
