I'll remove my driver's side spindle and take some comparison photos.

Since my bumper came without a plate bracket and a missing side vent, Japperformanceparts hooked me up with a plate bracket. At $55 shipped it wasn't cheap, but at least it came in black!

JPP FTW!

I love that place they have a seemingly endless supply of parts for all the Evo models. Raj usually hooks it up, Im surprised you paid that much for the bracket

Yeah I thought it was a bit expensive, but he was the only one who responded to my mail. Worst part is, he sent me one from a VI, not a TME. It says TME bracket on the invoice too. They haven't replied back to my email...

Have you gotten the fenders yet? Those are very necessary to complete the front appearance.

RHD is easy to get.

Yes it does.
It is not problem to convert Evo VI to LHD, but the point is that some parts like stearing rack is different for each version and it has different number of turns to the Lancer/Mirage. And the Evo one is not easy to get...
Plus as far as I know there are some issues importing car to US which is not approved. I´m sure US guys knows this and can describe it to closer details

From my time on here i learned importing one would be more troublesome than making a replica, unless you know people who can get the job done.

Its not just the RHD that is your obstacle of getting it legal. There is more.
No emission testings
no crash bars
not crash tested
etc.
