def carbon fiber ! .. hood but NOT trunk. unless you like that of course. but i don't lol. it would be a nice contrast on that color go for it ! post pics if you do.

lol, sounds like we have the same taste. I like cf hoods, but hate the trunks, and I bought my car wingless and the first thing I did was find a IX wing, lol!

had a seibon hood on my ww 8, its actually for sale if anyone is interested. Fit real nice and looked real good.

 

i say just get the oem hood repainted. Cf hoods look like black unpainted hoods from far away. Car looks way cleaner with a paint matched hood imo.

 

Find an OEM style Dry Carbon hood, then you'll be ridd'n dirty

I would say CF, yes it weighs the same or maybe even a little more then the stock hood, but would look much better and also throw a little differnt style in it. Yes they look like black hoods from far away and no I dont drive an EVO but on my RA i do got a carbon hood and trunk. My hood from RRM just started to show some Oxidation when i was home on leave from sitting and someone driving it without me knowing and didnt wax it for 9 months. On the other hand a little TLC and she was back to new, I also bought it USED from them off there RA they had, and it still is looking good. My car also sat outside for most of the time in the sun with no car cover (changed that now though) soooooo just my two cents.
