To Carbon Fiber Or Not to Carbon Fiber?

Ok, so the hood of my IX is INSANELY chipped up. The previous owner had to of painted the bumper because there are no signs of chipping anywhere and I dont know if I want to go through the hassle of repainting it which would mean they would have to do ALOT of blending into the fenders and doors...$$$.

Anyways, I'm trying to figure out if a OEM style carbon hood will look good on the car, ive always been up in the air about CF. Its an RS so I think it would flow good with the door handles and mirrors. Also, sometime soon I am getting the Rota P45R in black and red along with the JDM rear. So I just wanna get some opinions, do you guys think the CF hood would look good or not?

Not a fan of carbon hoods or trunks at all.. Looks like you put a junkyard piece on and couldnt afford to paint it..

maintaining CF is harder than maintaining regular paint. If your car spends 5 or 6 hours in the son, just forget about it. There's a good chance that you'll start seeing yellow in what was once a beautiful clearcoat. Oh yea stay the hell away from SEIBON. complete garbage used for clearcoat and the mesh they give you is ****tier than the ones you can buy from home depot.

If you go CF dont cheap out. Seibon is turd, I know, i have their hood, live in MAINE and after 5 months its changing colors and cracking. I have a feeling if you repaint the hood red its not going to match the "orangish red" your car is now.
