autometer dual pod for steering column
Does anyone have this installed and can I see pics if you do, I put mine in and it doesnt seem to fit quite right, do you place it over the steering column or remove the top piece and replace it with the new autometer piece?
It goes over your steering column. I used double-sided tape to secure it because I didn't want to drill holes into my steering column. It's not as secure if it were attached by screws but it stays on there just fine.

I have the single version for my wideband and it blocks the CEL completely. So if you have your CEL to flash when knock is detected you might want to reconsider this gauge setup or get a dedicated light to flash for knock.
I was at VIR this weekend, was curious a couple times how fast I was going on the straights. I had to lean forward to look around my pod to see my speeds when I was above 120 or so.
I was driving my Dad's blue STi in green group, but it started going through a quart and a half of oil by Sunday so I called it quits. Luckily Dave Nugent let me run my black Evo8 for my remaining two sessions. We were maybe 100 ft from you on the paddock iirc.
