I'm thinking about changing the look of my IX MR. i'm tired of dealing with my ****ty seibon carbon fiber hood, and my ralliart CF lip is all beat to hell from all the driving i've had to do over the last 7 months (see thread Am I the first? in EVO general). So i'm thinking about putting the stock hood back on, painting my roof and vg GG again (had it painted black to match hood and trunk), swapping my chargespeed carbon trunk for a stock GG trunk, and getting rid of my ralliart lip in favor of a GG SE lip. here are pics of my car now, what do you guys think? Also, if anybody is interested, i am willing to trade my Chargespeed CF trunk with authentic UK EVOLUTION IX MR badge (custom painted black) for a stock GG MR trunk (with badges) + cash. PM me offers.

Id go for it. I personally dont like the look of too much carbon fiber on a GG Evo, and if your selling the Ralliart lip pm me.

i already own a honda. that one was a joke.

 

i'm not having any problems with any of the stuff, i just don't know if i like it anymore. i know i don't like the hood because it's seibon junk, and 2x2 weave. if i stay carbon'ed out, i'm going to get a chargespeed cf hood, and probably a carbon SE lip since Ralliart lips aren't available anymore.

 

do it..especially the hood...i have a GG and had a cf hood i got tired of it real fast...plus the seibon hoods have a weird color to it...

 

yeah, seibon is trash. i love my trunk. it's made by chargespeed. fits like stock, and the 1x1 weave looks great. no yellowing, hazing, or blemishes like that seibon ****. if i do stay carbon, a chargespeed hood will be going on

 

change it.... then sell the parts to me for free.
