IS a drag racing cage for 11.50 or faster (i think thats 6 point) the same thing as a road racing cage?

Nope. they fundamentally have different requirements.

BUT... that's not to say you can't get away with it. I would tend to think that the road racing sanctions are more picky than the drag racing techs.

Look at Dave Buschur... he runs 9's with no cage.
