What does a JDM Evo IX RS (5speed) look like?

 

who cares what people think? maybe people think your wing and 3 badges are ricey

 

^^ my TB Project 8 is the same way... wingless and badgeless.... and it gets mistaken more than I woulda thought...

i had a guy one time in a RSX Typs S take off on me hard at a light, when i ran him down by the top of first gear, he pulled next to me at the next light and says " OMFG! I thought it was a regular lancer!"

Keep the cops off my *** when i drive the 8 tho.

 

Have yet to be pulled over in the Evo and will have it for a year in January.

Rice is putting design before function. My wing and VG has a function along with all other things on the car...

The red badge is rice? I would think not due to the fact that the car comes stock with some pretty rice looking chrome shiny badge and some ricey looking altezza tails. Changed the "red" badge to a Tommy Makinen Evo VI badge (def not rice) and JDM tails ( not rice ).

Define your version of rice for me? Thx!

i bought an OE silver one from lancer shop and painted it black myself.

 

yea, its the whole evolution mr badge. It's straight off the back. You cant really see the evolution part cause it's black.

i never said your car was ricey, i said MAYBE thats what people think when they see your bookshelf of a wing. If you are dumb enough to think a badgeless wingless evo is a lancer than you shouldn't care what that person thinks to begin with the whole point of the post was to say who cares what people think. it was nothing against you ...

 

i just think that no badges looks clean. and not all cluttered with badges going all over the deck lid.but yet i stil do like the uk badge alot.and it was just wingless for the pictures i took.its back on now. but if people don't know the difference from a lancer and a evolution than thats their own problem not like it effects me at all. but i just don't get how the wing makes a difference when its all carbon fiber and barely weights but 5 lbs its not like we all go 100 plus everyday 2 need the down force

 

also alot of people in missouri are all muscle car drivers and all laugh when the see wings but it don't effect of because none of them ever want go from a dig n show them what the spoiler really looks like. n they all call them fast and the furious cars. missouri is definetly different when it comes to people knowing cars

CF Evo IX trunk badge & all others removed. Getting rid of the front badge & bracket was a *****, but it was worth it.
